KARAWANG, RAKA – Kepala Dinas Pekerjaan Umum dan Perumahan Rakyat (PUPR) yang juga calon Sekretaris Daerah (Sekda) Karawang Acep Jamhuri, dilantik jadi ketua Dewan Pimpinan Cabang (DPC) Syarikat Islam Kabupaten Karawang. KARAWANG, RAKA – Kepala Dinas Pekerjaan Umum dan Perumahan Rakyat (PUPR) yang juga calon Sekretaris Daerah (Sekda) Karawang Acep Jamhuri, dilantik jadi ketua Dewan Pimpinan Cabang (DPC) Syarikat Islam Kabupaten Karawang. Acep dilantik langsung Hamdan Zoelva Ketua Umum Pimpinan Pusat Syarikat Islam.

Acep Jamhuri mengatakan, saat ini Syarikat Islam akan bekerja sesuai dengan anggaran dasar dan anggaran rumah tangga. “Mudah-mudahan bermanfaat sajahlah, jadi sebaik baiknya manusia memberikan manfaat bagi orang lain,” katanya, usai dilantik di Hotel Brits Karawang, Senin (8/4).
Yang terdekat, lanjut Acep, pihaknya akan melakukan konsolidasi organisasi terlebih dahulu. Pihaknya siap membahas rapat kerja untuk membahas program kedepan. “Kita mengikuti catur program pusat Hamdan Zoelva pemberdayaan petani khususnya, tadi saya sendiri Karawang dengan identik pertanian jadi ahli pertanian, Syarikat Islam Karawan termasuk untuk petani yang sudah jalan saat ini telor asin, batik dan brownis,” katanya.

Sementara itu, Hamdan Zoelva intruksikan DPC Syarikat Islam Kabupaten Karawang yang sudah dilantik untuk menggerakan umat Islam Karawang dalam pemberdayaan ekonomi kerakyatan. “Saya berharap pelantikan tadi Syarikat Islam Karawang, memulai dengan kerja-kerjanya yang kongkret, terutama dengan dakwah ekomomi ini penting sekali, Karena di sinilah kelemahan umat Islam kurang memiliki kemampuan ekonomi,” ujar ketua umum PP Hamdan Zoelva kepada Radar Karawang.

Kata Hamdan, umat Islam secara keseluruhan dibanding kelompok lain, saat ini terpinggirkan secara ekomoni. “Saya berharap gerakan dimulai dari Karawang, memberdayakan ekonomi masyarakat dengan berbagai usaha dan kerja keras,” ucapnya.

Target umat Islam sendiri dengan bergerak di Karawang dan menggerakan ekonominya. “Jadi bisa gerakan itu dalam arti melakukan pendampingan usaha, membangun semangat pelatihan berinovasi dan sebagainya, jadi gerak itu tumbuh dari bawah,” pungkasnya. (apk)
